Williamson Scores 10th Goal, Men's Soccer Falls at Sewanee in OT

SEWANEE, Tenn. — Jake Williamson built on his SAA-lead with his 10th goal of the season, but the Berry College men's soccer team fell to the Sewanee Tigers on Saturday 2-1 in overtime. 

Berry drops to 5-4-1 on the year while the Tigers improved to 6-2-1. The Vikings trailed 1-0 at the half after a Tigers goal in the 34th minute. Williamson scored the equalizer in the 61st minute to send the game to overtime, but the Tigers earned the game-winner off the boot of Bryan Franklin to secure the win. The Vikings fire 23 shots and had 10 corner kicks. 

Berry returns home on Tuesday to host Covenant College at 7:00 p.m.
