Men's Lacrosse Falls to Colorado College in Overtime

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Berry College men's lacrosse team dropped their third game of the season on Saturday, falling to Colorado College 10-9 in overtime. 

The Vikings are still searching for their first win of the season, despite giving some of the best competiton in NCAA Division III everything they can handle. Colorado College improved to 1-2.

Berry was led offensively by Hudson Harris and Chris Berchock who each scored four goals apiece. Riley Brogdon took the loss in goal, earning 14 saves on 24 shots faced. 

Colorado College took a 4-2 lead after the opening quarter, but the Vikings fought back to outscore the Tigers 4-3 in the second. Colorado College scored with just over a minute remaining in the half to hold a 7-6 lead. 

Berry trailed by one heading into the fourth, but Chris Berchock scored the equalizer with under a minute to play to force overtime. Tyler Borko scored the game-winner 56-seconds into the overtime period to give CC the victory. 



Berry will face Mary Washington in Charlotte, N.C. on March 2 at 1:00 p.m.
