Biography

ABOUT: Alden is from Rutherfordton, North Carolina and the son of Douglas and Jamie Grondahl. The business major enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, cycling, traveling and making people laugh in his free time. He sees his high school Head Coach Brian Espinoza as his biggest sports influence.

HIGH SCHOOL: At Thomas Jefferson Classical High School, he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was named to the National Honors Society. Athletically, he starred for the Gryphons as he was named Southern Piedmont Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 and 2024 as well as three time All-Region, four time All-Conference and 2023 All-State, while helping lead them to the 2023 Conference Championship and a regional runner-up finish.
