Ca'Terius Hinton joined the Berry football staff before the 2023 season.
In the 2024 campaign, Coach Hinton produced an Offensive Player of the Year and All-American in Brandon Cade, and also helped the Vikings to lead the SAA in overall rushing touchdowns with 28.Â
Hinton brings playing and coaching experience to the Vikings as he was formerly the Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Line Coach at Danville High School in Alabama. While at Danville, he worked individually with the defensive line and outside and inside linebackers to help prepare them for upcoming games and make adjustments for the team.
Prior to Danville he served a similar role at Linden High School while teaching History.
His playing experience comes from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama where he attended and played from 2016-2019. As a Hawk, Hinton was a defensive player that helped his team win three conference championships in the USA South that led to three NCAA Playoff appearances. The team captain was named to the Academic All-Conference team his final two years and was a USA South All-Sportmanship team selectee as well as an NFF Hampshire Honor Society inductee his senior season.
