McRae joined the coaching staff at Berry in the Fall of 2023 as a Graduate Assistant. He is in charge of coaching and recruiting cornerbacks and returners.
In 2024, McRae helped produce three All-SAA defensive backs and an SAA Defensive Player of the Year while being the top ranked passing defense in the conference.
Prior to joining the staff he served as an intern with the USFL Football Franchise Houston Gamblers in the Spring of 2023 and was a widereceivers coach for Rhodes College in the Spring of 2023. While at Rhodes he was a part of Men of Distinction and Stem Cohort.
The Lynx graduate played in Memphis and accumulated 78 tackles which included 55 solo tackles, 15 PBU's, 3 interceptions for 106 return yards, and had a blocked punt.
He was an All-SAA CB his senior year and he was also a member of the Track and Field team at Rhodes who won a Conference Championship in 2021.
