Biography

2014: Appeared in 12 games...collected six hits in 19 at bats, including one double and four RBIs...totaled two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored in Berry's 17-1 win versus Covenant (2/15)...went 1 for 2 with a run scored, one RBI and a stolen base in 4-0 win at Chapman (3/4)...collected one hit in an 8-0 victory at Centre (4/12).

2013: Named to the SAA Spring 2013 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll. Appeared in 26 games...hit .357 with five RBIs and five walks...collected a season-high two hits against Sewanee (3/16)...had a season-high two RBIs versus Sewanee (3/17)...totaled one hit and one run scored against Centre (4/27). 

High School: Four-year softball letterwinner...three-time region champions and Elite Eight...2010 State finalist...twice tabbed first team all-county...2011 first team all-region and team MVP...senior year: .434 batting avg., .523 base percentage, scored 26 runs and stole nine bases.

Personal: Haley Rae Smith was born in Augusta, Georgia...the daughter of Susan and Ray Smith...has one brother, Evan...has three sisters, Hanna, Melissa and Rebecca...majoring in exercise science and minoring in biology at Berry.
