MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Berry women's lacrosse is primed to have another outstanding year in 2026, as they begin competition in just under a month.
The squad will be led by box office midfielder Dani Taraska, who scored 45 goals and had 19 assists last season as a First Team All-SAA and Second Team All-Region honoree. She will be joined by a host of returning strong contributors, including Second Team All-SAA performer Katie Claire Smith, sophomore Morgan Barton, and sophomore attacker Isabel Fransen.
Their season gets rolling with their home opener on February 8 against Transylvania. Following that, Berry hits the road to take on Christopher Newport on February 13 and Virginia Wesleyan on February 14. The Vikings will close out the month of February and begin March at home against Piedmont on February 25 and Spalding on March 1.
Berry will spend spring break competing in Hilton Head, South Carolina, against Muhlenberg and Swarthmore. The Vikings then close out the non-conference season with matchups against Baldwin Wallace and the University of Wisconsin – River Falls.
Women's lacrosse then dives into SAA play on the road against Rhodes on March 28 in Memphis, Tennessee. The following weekend, Berry returns home to face Sewanee on April 4, before hitting the road for back-to-back weekends against Centre and Oglethorpe on April 11 and 18. They conclude their conference slate at home against Southwestern on April 26.
The SAA Tournament will be held from April 30 – May 2.
