MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Head Coach Matt Richter welcomes six to his 2025-2026 roster.
Bennett Frazer
Bennett hails from Memphis, Tennessee, and he is the son of Ashley and Preston Frazer, and he also has two siblings named Chase and Katie. Frazer attended Memphis University School, where he was very involved with the campus community. He was part of the National Honor Society, Latin Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Civic Service Honor Society. Bennett made the honor roll and Dean's List while lettering in varsity basketball in 2024 and 2025.
Chase Lamey
Chase makes his way to Berry via a two-hour drive from Birmingham, Alabama. He is the son of Jenny and Chris Lamey, and he has two siblings named Hayden and Zach. While at Berry, Lamey intends to major in sports strategy and leadership. He graduated from Oak Mountain High School, where he was a force on the basketball court, earning First Team All-County, Third Team All-South Metro, and Class 7A Area 6 All-Area Team.
Isaac Plavich
Isaac's journey to the collegiate level brings him about 50 miles southwest from his hometown of Dalton, Georgia. He is the son of Michael and Kari, and he has a sister named Kaitlyn. Isaac will be majoring in pre-physical therapy while at Berry. He graduated from Christian Heritage High School, where he was inducted into the National Honor Society and received high honors. On the basketball court, Isaac made two All-Region teams and two All-Area teams in his junior and senior seasons. Plavich also made the Georgia vs. Tennessee All-Star game in his senior year.
Ethan Morgan
Morgan hails from Huntersville, North Carolina, and he is the son of Jeff and Gina Morgan. He also has two siblings named Owen and Jacob. Ethan's ties to Berry are already deep, as his brother Jacob recently graduated from Berry and was a key contributor to last year's championship program. Ethan will major in finance while at Berry. He graduated from Pine Lake Prep, where he maintained a 4.6 GPA and was inducted into the National Honor Society. On the court, Ethan was a 4-time all-conference selection, 2-time team MVP and Offensive MVP, and he led his team to a conference tournament championship and two regular-season championships. To cap it all off, Morgan is the all-time leader at Pine Lake Prep in charges taken, second all-time in rebounds, and third in assists and steals.
Cameron Hewling
Cameron is a native of nearby Kennesaw, Georgia, and he is the son of Christy and Kirk Hewling and he has a brother named Christian. While at Berry, Hewling will major in biology. At Mount Paran Christian, Cameron was All-State in 2025 and All-Region in 2023 and 2025. To cap off his athletic accolades, he scored 1,000 points and led his team to a regional championship in his senior year, In the classroom, Hewling was inducted into the National Honor Society and was head of the school honor roll.
Will Smith
Smith begins his collegiate journey about 40 miles southeast from his hometown of Acworth, Georgia. He is the son of Kalisha and Ravelle and brother to Walker. Will graduated from Harrison High School, where he was selected for Second Team All-Region in his junior year and All-Region Honorable Mention in his senior season. Academically, Smith was a member of the National Honor Society.
