ROCHESTER, NY - Berry Indoor Track and Field Athletes
Jahari Jones and
Onoyeme Egure took to New York this weekend to face the best of the best.
On day one, Jones, competing in the 200m finished third in heat two during his prelim with a time of 22.07. He finished 14
th overall to claim a second team All-American honor and now looks to make even more noise in the Outdoor season.
Egure, just a sophomore, competing as the youngest in the bunch in shot put, threw a 13.66m on her third attempt in prelims. She finished 10
th overall by just missing the finals but still earned herself 2
nd Team All-American Honors (the second woman in the NCAA era for Indoor track and field).
These two had a tremendous season and have their sights set on even bigger things for the outdoor season!
