Jones and Egure Finalize at NCAA Championships

ROCHESTER, NY - Berry Indoor Track and Field Athletes Jahari Jones and Onoyeme Egure took to New York this weekend to face the best of the best.

On day one, Jones, competing in the 200m finished third in heat two during his prelim with a time of 22.07. He finished 14th overall to claim a second team All-American honor and now looks to make even more noise in the Outdoor season.

Egure, just a sophomore, competing as the youngest in the bunch in shot put, threw a 13.66m on her third attempt in prelims. She finished 10th overall by just missing the finals but still earned herself 2nd Team All-American Honors (the second woman in the NCAA era for Indoor track and field).

These two had a tremendous season and have their sights set on even bigger things for the outdoor season!
