MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Head Track and Field Coach Luke Syverson has unveiled the 2025-2026 indoor and outdoor schedules for women's track and field.
After finishing as runners-up at the SAA Championships last year, women's track and field is determined to prove that they can sit atop the conference this year. The Vikings return five individual SAA Champion athletes in hammer thrower

Onoyeme Egure, weight thrower
Avery Jones, distance runner
Anna Ayers, and hurdler
Macy Murdock. Sprinter
Julianne Shirley, vaulter
Ella Pine, and high jumper
Kris Williams will also look to make the jump from Second Team All-SAA to first place this season.
"We are blessed to live in a region that allows us to not travel far to get some great competition" says Syverson. "The Crossplex in Birmingham is one of the top indoor facilities in the country and will allow us to compete at meets against all NCAA levels. We are of course very excited to be able to host the SAA Outdoor Championships in April on our home track. We are looking forward to this season!"
The season gets underway with an intra-squad scrimmage as the Vikings hone their skills from December 1st-6th before competing in the Birmingham Icebreaker Indoor on December 5th. The indoor season kicks into high gear with a trip to Birmingham, Alabama, for the Samford Multi & Invite on January 15-16 before competing in the Samford Open 1 on January 17th. Women's Track and Field closes out the month of January with a showdown at the Centre Indoor Showcase in Danville, Kentucky, on January 24th.
The indoor season shapes up in February with the Tryon Indoor in Tryon, North Carolina on February 1st (hosted by Sewanee). Berry then circles back to Birmingham for the UAB Vulcan Invite & Pent on February 6th and the UAB Green and Gold Invite on February 7th. On the following weekend, Berry returns to the Crossplex in Birmingham to compete in the Samford Bulldog Open 2 on February 14th. The final tune up before the SAA Championships for women's track and field is the Sewanee Indoor Open in Sewanee, Tennessee on February 21st.
The indoor season's SAA Championships will take place from February 27th-28th in Danville, Kentucky. Finally, the NCAA DIII Indoor T&F Championships will be hosted at the Crossplex in Birmingham on March 13th and 14th.
The outdoor season begins on March 7th with the Victor Icebreaker Duals at home. That competition is followed by back-to-back weekends at Emory in Atlanta for the Emory Spring Break Classic on March 20th and 21st and the Emory Thrills in the Hills & Multi's.
The Vikings open up April with yet another trip to Emory on April 4th to compete at the Emory Dooley Elite. Berry finally returns home for the Berry Field Day Invitational and Multi's from April 9th through April 11th. The month closes with the Vikings hosting the SAA Outdoor Conference Championships from April 24-April 25.
The season wraps up in May with the Emory Twilight Qualifier and the Augustana Twilight Last Chance in Rock Island, Illinois. Following that, are the NCAA DIII Outdoor National Championships from May 21st through May 23rd in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
