NEW ORLEANS - The Men and Women's Scholar Teams and All-Academic Teams for the 2024 NCAA Division III Cross Country season were announced today by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA).
The men's team made their way as an All-Academic team with a GPA of 3.48 while the women did the same with a GPA of 3.52.Â
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
The Vikings are joined by SAA competitors, Millsaps and Centre, and soon to be conference members: Southwestern, Trinity, and Maryville.
Individual All-Academic Athletes are as follows:

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
On the men's side, Berry dominated with five selections compared to only three other SAA athletes being named (two from Centre and one from Trinity).
For the women, the Vikings still placed more members on the All-Academic team than any other team in the conference.
