MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Angelakos and Moraitakis Representing the Vikings while playing for Greece the in Baseball Classic.

This summer two Vikings have been serving on the Greece National Team.

Aubrey Moraitakis a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Roswell, Georgia, and Nicholas Angelakos, a junior right-handed pitcher from Woodstock, Georgia.

How they have been performing:
As a team they are 5-0-1 and won their side of the pool in bracket play.

Moraitakis was put in with the bases loaded against Slovakia and got his team out of the tough inning. He threw a two-inning close against Lithuania that included three strikeouts and a walk.

Angelakos came in for an inning in the second game and brought two strikeouts with a pop up to close the inning. The next day he started on the mound and went three innings scoreless with four strikeouts, two hits, and no walks.

The coaches are eager to get their Vikings back on campus, but Assistant Coach Dylan Beasley, in charge of the pitching staff says, "It is exciting that our guys were able to represent their families and culture through the sport they both love.

We are super pumped for them and extremely proud."
