Anna Jackson follows with a high batting average of her own at .433 in 134 at bats, leading the team in RBIs with 63 total on the season.Â
Senior
Sydney Moroney leads the team in batting average with a big Regional Tournament of her own to boost her average to .485 with 66 hits. The right fielder was an All-tournament team selection. Continuing down the lineup for the Vikings is
Katie White and
Shelby Daniel who hold high batting averages as well, but their fielding has done wonders defensively for the team all year. Their ability to read the ball and make key plays has saved the Vikings in tough situations.
In the circle Berry can't go wrong with
Danielle Sudick the Regional MVP,
Hannah Gore - an All-American with the lowest ERA on the team and most strikeouts,
Casey Holloway a sophomore with the second lowest ERA and second most strikeouts, and
Ava Fouts the conference Pitcher and Newcomer of the Year.Â
Lots of Vikings have had notable performances this year, stepping up to the plate and doing their job to ensure success.
