MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The stage is set in Montgomery, Alabama, and the Vikings are on their way to the Regional with the information below.

Match-up Preview for Game One:
The Vikings are set to take on Maryville College on Thursday at 12:00 PM CT in game one of the 2024 Regional hosted by Huntingdon College.

The Vikings and Scots met up earlier this year, in February. On their home field, Berry took down Maryville in a doubleheader with a 3-1 first game score and a 10-2 game two win. 

In game one, star pitcher Hannah Gore claimed the win with Danielle Sudick getting the save. Morgan Frye's RBI double put the Vikings on the board and an error from Maryville spotted the home team on more run for the lead they never gave up.

In game two, SAA Newcomer of the Year and Pitcher of the Year Ava Fouts took control with a win in the circle. The Scots shot up 1-0 quickly in the game, but this motivated the Vikings as Lauren Cothern hit a home run and SAA Athlete of the Year Morgan Frye scored two on a single to go up 6-2 and put the game away.

With both teams coming off Conference Championship wins and the Scots fighting as the underdog all year, round one for the Regional looks to be a good game. However, Berry holds a 22-4 record overall Maryville all-time.

Merchandise
There will be a merchandise tent located at the first base side gate. It will be open all three days of the tournament. Debit/credit cards and cash are accepted.

Concessions CASH ONLY
There will be a concession stand located by the press box stairs that will open each day 30 minutes prior to the start of the first game. each day. The concession stand will close each day at the end of the fifth inning of the last game.

Parking
Spectator parking will be available in the Narrow Lane lot, which is outlined in red on the campus map and can be entered from Narrow Lane Road. The softball field is outlined in blue on the campus map. There is no parking at the softball field because it is a fire lane.

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT LUCINDA SAMFORD CANNON FIELD OR ANY OTHER ATHLETIC FACILITY ON CAMPUS. If anyone comes to the tournament with a pet, they will be asked to leave.
