DANVILLE, Ky. - Men's Lacrosse season has come to a close in a tough loss to Sewanee in the SAA Semifinals matchup 8-6.
The Vikings owned the first quarter, going up 4-0 with ease with
Michael McKenzie scoring two.
Jackson Blaylock kept the momentum going with the first goal of the second for a five to nothing lead in favor of Berry.
Addison Irwin only allowed one Tiger goal in the entire first half and the teams headed to halftime with Berry up 6-1, sitting nicely for the remaining 30-minutes of play.
The switch flipped after the half, now Sewanee was owning the game, scoring five goals in the third to take tie it heading into the final quarter.
Berry was unable to score any goals in the entire second half as their offense could not fly it by the Tiger goalie.
Two goals in the fourth for Sewanee, unanswered by the Vikings lifted them to the SAA Championship.
Berry finishes their season 8-8 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
