MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Berry Women's Lacrosse has earned the three seed for the Southern Athletic Association championship and they are set to take on sixth seeded Hendrix on Friday.
The entire 2024 SAA Women's Lacrosse Tournament will be held at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, the Vikings are set to play at 4:00 PM.
Berry finished the season overall 11-4 with a 3-2 conference record.
In their last meet up with the Warriors the Vikings dominated in a 20-4 win in Arkansas.
Dani Taraska and
Haley Larsen led the team with four goals a piece, while
Molley Cross notched four of her own with three assists!
Ally Washburn earned the win in the goal with nine saves against Hendrix.
For the season, Berry has produced big numbers with Larsen and Taraska leading the team with 52 goals and Cross leading in assists with 27. Taraska also leads the team in ground balls and caused turnovers on the year.
Goalkeeping has been owned by Washburn and
Myskina Bolavong who have combined for the Vikings wins all season long against opponents.Â
The winner of the quarterfinal match will move on to play No.2 Centre on Sunday at 1:00 PM.
