MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Berry Softball finalized SAA play as they completed the sweep of Millsaps in Game Three and made SAA history as being the first team to go 18-0 in the conference.
The win was another run rule in five innings with the Vikings leading the way at 17-3.
Casey Holloway gained her seventh win this season in the circle for the Vikings pitching three innings and only allowing one hit with no runs.
Danielle Sudick coming in relief to close out the game with four strikeouts.
Berry was consistent in their historic win at the plate scoring 4, 3, 5, 5 runs across their four appearances in each inning.
Morgan Frye once again showed out with a homerun and a double on her way to scoring three runs with 2 RBIs.
Megan Rapillo and
Anna Jackson also joined the double club and
Katie White was on her own with her triple in the fourth.
Katie Parker led the team in RBIs with three today and the team combined for a season high 22 hits and a new season high 14 RBIs.
Berry has two more non-conference games before hosting the SAA tournament. First up is a rescheduled double header with Piedmont University on Thursday in Demorest, Georgia.
