MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Brandon Cade has clinched another All-American honor for this season, this time being named Second Team All-America by the AP.
Cade is one of two SAA members to make one of the two All-America teams.Â
Brandon began the year as a preseason pick for All-America honors and he showed up to back that. The senior played in ten games for the Vikings rushing over 1,000 yards with 17 touchdowns.Â
He broke the Berry all-time touchdown record (60), rushing attempts in a season record (203), rushing attempts in a career record (545), rushing attempts per game in a season (20.3), yards per game in a career (101.4), and still holds the records for career rushing yards (3,953) and yards per rush in a career (7.35).
The Duluth, Georgia, native has been an instrumental part the Berry Offense, garnering a plethora of awards throughout his career. This season alone he was named the SAA Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-SAA, D3football.com Offensive Player of the Year for Region 3 and was a first team all-region selection.
Brandon will forever reside in Berry record books.
