In their third contest of the season, the Vikings saw the game slip away as the Lions drew blood first to take the lead after 20 minutes of regulation play. The Vikings capitalized on their attack and answered with a header from
Ben Hauke, assisted by
Nathan Carlson, to tie the contest before halftime. The game played back and forth in the second half, and neither side could pull away before the final buzzer.
The Vikings will return to action on Saturday as they host Wabash at noon at Bob Pearson Field.Â
