MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Swim and Dive have swept the SAA with Athlete of the Week selections from the Men and Women's side, Ashley Young and Crawford Hightower snatch the award after their performance at SCAD this past weekend.

Ashley Young earns her first ever SAA Athlete of the Week honor after a team fourth place finish in the 4x100 yard freestyle relay. She followed that performance with a 12th place finish in the 200 yard IM at a time of 2:12 flat. Young wrapped up at the SCAD Invitational with an overall eight place finish in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:28.92).

Crawford Hightower earns this honor as a freshman and for the first time in his career. He had impressive finishes against top opponents this past weekend where he placed 10th in the 100 yard butterfly, 11th in the 100 yard backstroke, and 12th in the 200 yard butterfly, all individually. With his team he helped with a 5th place finish in the 4x100 freestyle relay and a 6th place finish in the 4x100 medley relay.

Young and Hightower return back to the pool after the Holiday Break as the Vikings host Piedmont University on January 9th.
