The Berry women's soccer team (5-10-1) saw their season come to an end in Danville, Ky. On Saturday afternoon. The Vikings fell 2-0 to Centre in the first round of the Southern Athletic Association tournament.

Maggie Jones showed out with a solid performance as she recorded 10 saves total for the Vikings. Four of them being in the first half, and six in the second.
Center's midfield had two shots on goal withing the first 13 minutes of the first half, but both were saved by Jones. 12 minutes later, the Colonels made another scoring attempt as their center attack rushed to the left side of the box and had a shot in goal but once again it was saved by Jones.
The intensity of the game increased during the second half as Centre sent off their defenders towards Berry's applying pressure into the box causing the Vikings to make mistakes leading to Centre to re-gain possession and score their first goal of the match. Jones stood up as she recorded two more saves for the Vikings. With only 28 minutes left of the half, the Colonels made their way to score the deciding goal of the match.
Berry concludes their season 5-10-1 and finishes seventh in regular season SAA standings.
