The Berry Vikings (5-6-5) fell short in their final regular season game against Southern Athletic Association conference foe, Oglethorpe University 1-0. Their loss at Oglethorpe gave the Stormy Petrels the SAA regular season conference title after going 6-1-0 against conference opponents. 

The only goal of the match came in the 32nd minute when Daniel Amah headed a cross from Ben Alram into the back of the net. The Vikings offense was stifled by the Petrel defense as Berry was held to 0 shots overall. 

Jose Palacios recorded seven saves holding steady against the highest scoring offensive team in the SAA conference.  

Berry will enter the SAA tournament as a seven seed and will play second seeded Rhodes for the first round of the tournament.  

The first-round matchup will be held in Memphis, Tenn. on Saturday. Times have yet to be announced.
