Mount, Berry, Ga. - The Berry College Men's Lacrosse team fell 15-6 on senior day to the visiting Birmingham-Southern Panthers in Southern Athletic Association play.

In the first quarter, not much was going for the Vikings. Birmingham-Southern (10-3, 3-1) scored five unanswered goals to give it a 5-0 lead. BSC scored once more seven seconds into the second, then Berry started to wake up. Berry scored four straight goals behind
Joey Cuthbert,
Noah Miller,
Tyler Banfield, and
Ethan Perlakowski. However, the Panthers would answer with two more goals of their own before the half, making the score 8-4 in favor of Birmingham-Southern.

In the third quarter, Berry and BSC evened each other out with two goals a piece, one coming from
Noah Miller and the other from
Jackson Blaylock. Blaylock's goal with 2:50 remaining in the third would be the last time the Vikings scored in this contest.

The fourth was all Panthers. Birmingham-Southern scored five unanswered goals to stretch the final score 15-6.

On the defensive side,
David Gottesman tallied 19 total saves with a .559 save percentage on the day.

The Vikings will be back in action on the road next Saturday as they take on the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels in Atlanta to close SAA regular season play.
