Berry's men's tennis team bounced back in Southern Athletic Association play with a 7-2 win over Hendrix College at the Rome Tennis Center Sunday morning.
The Vikings went 2-1 in their doubles series, with lines two and three posting dominant wins against the Warriors.
Kyle Lutian and
Connor Murphy represented line two and won 8-1, while
Noah Koch and
Carsten Balao shut out their opponent for line three.
In the singles competition, Koch and Lutian had close matchups in their respective line. Both ended in a tie-breaker round. Koch fell to the Warriors' Austin Kalinoski, and Lution bested Eli Pierce in the tie breaker.
The Vikings will be back in action at home on April 8 against Huntingdon College. The first match is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
