Berry's women's tennis team was dominant Saturday morning at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College, as the Vikings dropped just 10 games as a team en route to a 9-0 defeat of Oglethorpe.
The Vikings, in winning their Southern Athletic Association opener, had four matches in which they did not drop a game. In No. 3 doubles,
Adelle Yanez and
Emma Kruger were victorious 8-0 over Alexis Salgueiro and Katie Hunter. In singles,
Allison Ivey (No. 1),
Kathryn Barker (No. 3), and Yanez (No. 4) were each victorious 6-0, 6-0.
The Vikings will be back in action this upcoming week in Hilton Head Island, S.C., as part of their Spring Break trip.
