Three pitchers combined on a four-hitter as Berry defeated (RV) Millikin, 9-0, Friday night in Jackon, Miss., as part of the Millsaps Baseball Classic.
Patrick O'Rourke (1-0) earned the win with five innings of work on the hill, giving up just two hits and one walk while fanning six.
Will Macolino pitched three solid innings, allowing two hits and a walk with two strikeouts.
Jackson Halla finished off the game retiring Millikin in order in the ninth to complete the shutout.
Andrew Pendleton continued his hot start to the season, going 3-for-5 with an RBI. Pendleton sits at 5-for-7 (.714) in the young season at the plate with four RBI.

Jack Poist in the first inning to give the Vikings the early 1-0 lead. Poist would single home
Trace Cate one inning later, then
Spence Johns delivered an RBI double to make it 3-0 after two frames.
Wesley Wade would crank a two-run homer in the fourth to stretch the lead to 5-0, with Pendleton scoring on a wild pitch later in the inning for BC's sixth run of the game. Another Poist RBI knock would make it 7-0 in the fifth, and
Levi Cloud and Pendleton would each drive in an insurance run in the eighth inning to cap the scoring.
The Vikings will be back in action Saturday night as they face Huntingdon. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. EST.
