Rome, Ga. – The Berry College men's soccer team improves to 5-0 and 3-0 in SAA play after a 5-0 win over Hendrix on senior night on Friday and a 1-0 win over Rhodes on Sunday.
Gerard Cabrera and
Josh Pruett were honored on Friday before the Vikings took on Hendrix.
The Viking offense took a 2-0 in the first and increased the lead to 5-0 in the second. Pruett,
Michael Carboni,
Nathan Carlson,
Henry Asbill and Aiden Hackett each connected with a goal.
Jose Palacios got the start at goalkeeper and recorded one save.
Grant Houpert also saw playing time at keeper.
In Sunday's game,
Tracy Moon scored early in the first period to make it a 1-0 game. He was assisted by Carlson. The lone goal would be just what the Vikings needed to defeat Rhodes.
The Lynx recorded just one shot on goal to Berry's five.
