The Berry men's basketball team put together a strong second=half performance to win its fifth straight win in as many outings Tuesday night Montgomery, Ala., when the Vikings handed non-conference foe Huntingdon a 77-66 defeat.
The win improves the Vikings to 5-0 with their next game coming Tuesday, Nov. 30 t The Cage when Berry square off in a rematch with the Hawks.
On Tuesday, Berry trailed by two, 30-28, at the half but in the final 20 minutes took command of the game, eventually taking a 17-point lead with just over four minutes to play.
Chase Ellis led the Vikings, who connected on 60 percent of their shots in the second half, with 13 points,
Riley Costas had 12, Devan McEwan added 10 and
Austin Brooks had nine points and 10 rebounds.
