Volleyball Wins Third Straight With Sweep at Sewanee

SEWANEE, Tenn. — The No. 24 Berry College volleyball team handed Sewanee just their second loss of the season on Friday night in straight sets. 

Berry dominated most of the match, winning set one 25-11, set two 25-21 and the final set 25-18. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The Vikings hit .381 to in set one, holding the Tigers to a .000 hitting percentage. Sewanee committed six errors in the opening set. 
  • While set two was much tighter, Berry continued to attack efficiently, hitting .333 as a team. 
  • Sewanee led 9-5 in set two before Berry went on an eight point run. 
  • Berry controlled set three, hitting .370 as a team.
