Ragland Notches 1,000th Dig as Berry Dominates Hendrix 3-0

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Elizabeth Ragland notched her 1,000th career dig, as the Berry College volleyball team bested Southern Athletic Association-foe Hendrix College, 3-0, at home on Saturday.

Match scores were 25-16, 25-17 and 25-19, as the Vikings earned their sixth sweep of the year to remain undefeated in conference play. In the victory, Berry also led the game in nearly every category, including kills (37-30), assists (37-30), service aces (4-2), digs (57-46) and blocks (12-1). The Vikings also hit .263 in the outing, to Hendrix's .057.

  • Berry improves to 9-3 overall, as well as a perfect 4-0 in the SAA, winning their last four matches in a row.
  • Hendrix falls to 5-8 and 2-2.
  • Berry's national-leading blocking continued as Berry racked up 12 blocks.
