DEMOREST, Ga. – Chris Berchock and Hudson Harris each tallied four times for the Vikings as the Berry College men's lacrosse team held off Piedmont College 14-8 on Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Piedmont scored the first three goals of the game, leading 3-2 at the end of the first quarter.
- The Vikings then outscored the Lions 12-5 in the remaining three quarters, holding Piedmont to only one goal in both the second and third quarter.
- In the outing, Berry added 50 shots to Piedmont's 30, 32 of which were on goal for the Vikings.
- Berry also led the game in face offs (22-2) and ground balls (50-24). The Vikings forced 14 Piedmont turnovers to their 13 as well.
- Seven players found the back of the net for Berry, with three of them scoring at least twice.
