Men's Soccer Earns Double Overtime Draw Against BSC

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Although the Vikings outshot the Panthers 20-11, the Berry College men's soccer team finished in a double overtime draw with Birmingham-Southern College 0-0 in a Southern Athletic Association matchup on Friday afternoon. 

Jake Williamson led the Vikings' offense, adding six shots on the day, five of which were on goal. Steven Moore added an additional six shots for Berry, two of which were on goal. Jackson Lynn and Ryan Hepp each finished the game with two shots on goal for the Panthers, although neither team could find the back of the net in the 110 minute contest.

  • Carson Oakes: 7 SV

BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN STANDOUTS:

  • Lynn: 4 SH, 2 SOG

NOTABLES:

  • With the matchup, Berry moves to 6-5-1 overall on the year, as well as 2-2-1 in the SAA.
  • The Panthers are now 6-4-2 and 2-1-1.
