DANVILLE, Va. - Averett University scored an own goal as the Berry College men's soccer team held on to win, 1-0, on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Vikings outshot the Cougars, 21-6.
• Averett added 2 corner kicks to Berry's 1.
• The Cougars scored on their own goal in the 34th minute, adding the sole goal of the game for both teams.
