CONWAY, Ark. – Bailey Martin had a hat trick as the Berry College men's lacrosse team defeated Hendrix College, 10-3, on Friday night.

The win improved the Vikings to 5-6 overall and 2-1 in the Southern Athletic Association. The loss dropped the Warriors to 6-6 and 1-2.

Martin's three goals led the BC offense. He also passed one assist in the win. Stephen Galloway added two goals, and five other Vikings tallied once on the night.

The Vikings scored once in the first quarter and remained ahead for the rest of the game. BC was ahead 3-0 at the half and led 6-0 after three quarters.

Cole Cramer scored twice for the Warriors.

Nick Voso earned the complete game win in goal for Berrry. Voso collected 14 saves in his 60 minutes of work.

The Warriors led the game in shots (36-27), while the Vikings led in ground balls (30-24).

BC will travel to Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee for their next SAA match-up on Sunday, March 27 at 2 p.m.
