Berry Women's Lacrosse Nips Calvin, 11-10

ROME, Ga. – Savannah Robar scored four goals and passed four assists as the Berry College women's lacrosse team outlasted Calvin College, 11-10, on Thursday night.

The win improved the Vikings to 6-3 overall. The loss dropped the Knights to 2-2.

Clara Bissell added a hat trick in the win. She scored three goals and picked up one ground ball for Berry.

Kelsey McAnnally tallied two goals and dished out two assists on the night. McAnnally also picked up two ground balls and won two draw controls for the Vikings.

Olivia Iobst rounded out the BC scoring, adding one goal as well.

The Vikings led the Knights 8-6 at halftime, after changing leads three times. Berry led for the remainder of the game.

For Calvin, Amanda Davio scored five goals to lead the offense. Davio also picked up one ground ball and won six draw controls.

Ella Makin (6-3) earned the complete-game win in goal for Berry. Makin collected seven saves in her 60 minutes of work.

The Vikings led the game in shots (26-22) and ground balls (17-15) while the Knights prevailed in draw controls (16-7).

Berry hosts Sewanee on Saturday, March 19 at 1 p.m.
