CONWAY, Ark. - The Berry volleyball team was bested by the Hendrix College Warriors in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) title match on Sunday afternoon, 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Warriors jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after hitting .314 in the first set
• Berry posted a .184 attack percentage to the Warriors' .317 and added 53 digs to 64 for Hendrix.
• Both teams were solid serving, with Berry posting five aces to six for the Warriors.

• Hannah Kate Thompson: 28 assists, 3 blocks, 6 digs
• Katie Truluck: 12 digs
• Jessica Gum: 13 kills, 3 blocks
• Emily Hancock: 11 kills, 5 digs

• MC Rogers: 18 kills, 9 digs
• Sara Dyslin: 14 kills, 3 digs
• Allison Gaia: 24 assists, 10 digs
• Amber Melcher: 22 assists, 2 aces, 9 digs

NOTABLES:

• Berry's Jessica Gum and Katie Truluck were named to the All-Tournament Team.
