Women's lacrosse winning streak ends vs. DePauw

SEWANEE, Tenn. -- Claire Rosenberg scored 3 goals and had 4 assists, but Berry College lost to DePauw, 20-13, at Sewanee on Wednesday night.

The defeat snapped a 7-match winning streak for the Vikings (7-2). The Tigers improved to 3-3.

For BC, Kelsey McAnnally added 4 goals and 2 helpers; Kim Fischer recorded 3 goals and an assist; Clara Bissell netted 3 goals and teammate Lizzy Jones scored twice.

DePauw had a big first half and led 10-3 at the break. Both teams collected 10 goals in the second half.

Berry led in ground balls, 19-17. The Tigers had the edge in shots (35-28) and draw controls (20-15) 

Casey Born had 6 saves for the Vikings. She dropped to 0-1 for the year.

Emilye Denny tallied 5 goals for DePauw.

The Vikings play at Sewanee this Sunday.
