The loss dropped the Vikes to 13-4 and 4-2 in the Southern Athletic Association. The victory improved the Warriors to 12-6, and 6-0.

On defense, Katie Truluck collected 22 digs on the afternoon. Christina Goforth also added 16 digs.
Hendrix took the opening set, 28-26, but not after a back and forth battle for the final point. After the Vikes worked back from an early 3-0 deficit, the game remained within one point until the end. The Warriors' took the set on back-to-back BC attack errors.
BC rallied back, earning the, 26-24, second set win. With both a kill and a forced attack error from Goforth, the Vikings closed out the victory.
Hendrix took the last two sets, 25-16 and 22-25. In the third set, the Warriors pulled ahead, with five unanswered points, and the 11-5 lead was too much for BC to overcome.
In the final set, the Vikes kept the game close, but the Warriors ended up pulling ahead and taking the match.
"Our fans were treated to a great match between two of the top teams in the SAA," said Berry Head Coach Mika Robinson. "Credit Hendrix for playing more consistently down the stretch and keeping the pressure on us with their serve."
MC Rodgers had 17 kills and 10 digs for the Warriors.
Berry will take on Rhodes College in their next SAA match-up on Sunday, Oct. 4. The match is Parent's Day at the Cage and begins at 2 p.m.
