MARYVILLE, Tenn. -- Berry College recorded 15 hits in a 13-5 win at Maryville College on Wednesday.

The Vikings improved to 17-7 and the Scots dropped to 9-11.

Stephen Gaylor went 4-5 with two doubles, three runs and two stolen bases. Zach Farmer went 2-4 with three runs, a triple, one home run and five RBI. Will Heard and Grant Perkins also collected two hits for Berry.

The visitors trailed 1-0 before plating six runs in the fifth frame to break the game open. Glen Williamson (1-0) earned the win for BC. He allowed one earned run, allowed just two hits and fanned five Scots in the game.

Three other pitcher took the hill for the Vikes. Braxton Teal tossed a perfect ninth inning for BC.

The Vikings play a three-game series at Millsaps beginning on Saturday.
