Vikings sweep at Maryville, 3-0

MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Stephanie Quinn had seven kills, hit .700, recorded 29 assists and 11 digs as Berry College won at Maryville College, 3-0, on Wednesday.

Set scores were 25-23, 25-21, 25-14. The Vikings led in hitting percentage, .267 to .155.

Katie O'Rourke spiked a team-best nine kills and had three blocks. Emily Stromberg led the visitors with 13 digs and added eight kills. Stephanie Steele served four aces for Berry.

"I thought we served aggressively tonight, and our ball control in the third set allowed us to be efficient offensively," said Berry Head Coach Mika Robinson. "This was a good in-region win on the road for us."

Kristen Sharp had six kills and 13 digs for the Scots.

BC improved to 13-4 and Maryville dropped to 9-15. 

The Vikings return to Southern Athletic Association action this Friday at Sewanee
