JACKSON, Miss. -- Anna Keappler had 16 kills as Berry College won at Millsaps Colege, 3-2, on Friday night. Set scores were 27-29, 25-18, 26-14, 21-25 and 15-13.

BC improved to 12-3 and is now 6-0 in the Southern Athletic Association. The Majors dropped to 10-9, 3-3.

Kelsey Lochstampfor added 14 kills for the Vikings. Additionally, Stephanie Quinn surpassed 1,000 career digs in the match. Quinn had 17 digs, four blocks and 51 assists for the visitors.

"I give credit to Millsaps for being aggressive from the service line and at the net," said Berry Head Coach Mika Robinson. "I am really proud of our team's resilience tonight on the way to a conference victory on the road."

BC had not lost a set to an SAA opponent until the Majors took two in the match. Caroline McKey had a match-best 44 digs for MC.

Emily Stromberg recorded a team-high 22 digs and nine kills for Berry.

The Vikings play at Birmingham-Southern on Saturday at 5 p.m.
