Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Berry and Birmingham-Southern men's soccer teams played to a scoreless tie on Friday evening at BSC Soccer Park.
It was the Panthers' seventh overtime game and fifth tie this season. For Berry, it was the fourth extra time match, but the first time the Vikings did not prevail.
The Vikings are 10-3-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the SAA. BSC is 5-4-5 and 2-0-3.
The Panthers recorded 20 shots to Berry's 18. Sveinbo Grimsson played all 110 minutes in goal and had eight saves. Logan Hill had seven saves for BC.
"We played well," said Berry Head Coach Richard Vardy. "The guys that played worked really hard. We never felt as though we passed the ball and possessed the ball as well as we could."
Berry plays at Millsaps on Sunday.
