Box Score Berry's Jenny Miller scored three goals, but Centre defeated the Vikings 11-9 in a women's lacrosse game on a cold and windy Saturday afternoon in Danville, Ky.
Berry held a 5-1 advantage at halftime, but Centre clawed back into the contest and scored six of the game's final seven goals to earn the victory.
Miller was instrumental in helping the Vikings open their first-half lead, scoring all three of her goals in the game's first 28 minutes. Kaylee Lane scored the other two goals in the first half for Berry.
The Vikes picked up second-half goals from Anya Dziurzynski, Kristan Dziurzynski, Kristen Brooks and Blair Shupenko.
Sarah Mastey led Centre with six goals.
Berry goalie Taylor Martin recorded nine saves.
The Vikings are scheduled to return to action April 2, when they host Sewanee at 11 a.m.
