Ned Kaish was named Head Men's Lacrosse Coach in July 2026.
Kaish comes to Berry from Lenoir-Rhyne University, an NCAA Division II program in North Carolina, where he served as an assistant coach for six years. During his tenure, he helped lead the Bears to an NCAA National Championship, six NCAA Tournament appearances, two South Atlantic Conference (SAC) regular season championships, three SAC Tournament titles, and three appearances in the NCAA Championship game.
Â
The Bears posted an 85-16 overall record during Kaish's six seasons on staff. He played a key role in developing one of the most prolific scorers in NCAA lacrosse history and helped mentor the top three scorers in Lenoir-Rhyne program history.
Â
In 2023, Kaish helped lead the Bears to one of the most successful seasons in program history. Lenoir-Rhyne broke multiple offensive records, including team single-season marks, while also setting new single-game records for assists and man-up goals. The Bears captured their first NCAA National Championship, and Kaish coached two All-Americans as well as the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
Â
Prior to his time at Lenoir-Rhyne, Kaish served as the head coach at Northview High School in Johns Creek, Georgia where he led the Titans to three consecutive playoff appearances while coaching three All-State selections and one All-American. Kaish also served as an assistant coach at Greater Atlanta Christian School, helping guide the program to a Final Four appearance and a school record for goals scored in a season.
Â
As a student-athlete at Lenoir-Rhyne, Kaish earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2015 finishing his career among the program's all-time leaders. He ranks sixth in school history in points (170), fifth in goals scored (124), and is tied for the program record in man-up goals. His 42 goals in 2015 rank among the top single-season totals in school history, and his 21 career hat tricks are tied for fifth all-time.
Â
In addition to his success on the field, Kaish has built strong recruiting relationships throughout the Southeast and has been actively involved in identifying and developing talent in one of the nation's fastest-growing lacrosse regions. His experience coaching in Georgia and recruiting across the South provides valuable insight into the continued growth of the sport and positions him well to attract outstanding student-athletes to Berry College.
Kaish graduated from Lenior-Rhyne in 2015 with a degree in Broadcast and Electronic Media with a concentration in Sports Studies.
