Berry College

Krista Tate joined Berry's women's basketball program as agraduate assistant coach in the summer of 2011.  She came tothe Mount Berry campus after earning her undergraduate degree atGeorgia Southern University in May, 2011.

Tate was a three year letter winner at Georgia Southern, shestarted in the backcourt in her final two years at GSU.  As ajunior in 2010-11, she averaged nine points and six rebounds pergame.  She needed just three years to earn a bachelor's degreein writing and linguistics, graduating Cum Laude.

While Tate is new to Berry's coaching staff, she is not astranger to head coach Stephanie Dunn, whom Tate played for as ahigh school standout at St. Pius X Catholic High School inAtlanta.  Under Dunn's coaching, Tate and St. Pius X went onto win a pair of state championships during Tate's prepcareer.
