2011 Track: Started the season with a personal best in the 3,000 meters at the Clemson University meet (2/11-2/12), finishing with a 11:32.29…set another PR in the 1,500 meters with a 5:16.00 at the Emory Classic (3/26) where she also finished 16th in the 800 meters with a season best 2:33.12…placed 3rd in the 5,000 meters at the Sewanee Outdoor meet (4/2), recording a 19:53.19 which she later improved to 19:32.18 in the Auburn University meet (4/16)…finished the Flying Pig Half-Marathon (5/1) with a time of 1:39:23.

 

2010 Cross Country: Ran in seven meets…posted a season best 5K time of 20:13 at the Southeast Classic (10/23), finishing 57th…ran her best 6K time at the USATF Club XC Nationals (12/11), recording a 24:35…her best place finish came at the Darlington Open 5K (10/2) where she placed sixth and ran a 21:08.

 

High School: Graduated from Dunwoody High School in Dunwoody, Ga... was a four-year letter winner in track and cross country, and was captain for both... placed third in All-County in the two-mile, was on the Dekalb County championship team, 2nd Team in Regional Track, 5th Team for the State... named Atlanta Journal Constitution Outstanding Scholar Athlete in 2010... was Athlete of the Year at Dunwoody in 2010 and was on the National Who's Who in Athletics list... Honor Roll all four years... National High School Scholar 2009-2010, National Who's Who Award in American History 2009, Atlanta Journal Constitution Outstanding Scholarly Athlete Award 2010... president of SGA, Spanish Honor Society, Mock Trial, Relay for Life... is a Bonner Scholar at Berry.

 

Personal: Charlotte A. Collins was born in Atlanta, Ga... she is the daughter of Debbie and Jim Collins... her father, Jim, played baseball at the University of Florida (1996-97)... a government major with a legal studies minor at Berry.
