Volleyball Jumps One Spot to No. 20 in AVCA Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Berry College volleyball team rose one spot to No. 20 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top 25, the organization announced on Tuesday. 

Berry improved to 14-2 overall and 10-0 in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) last week, topping Oglethorpe, Sewanee and Centre. The wins extended the Vikings' win streak to 22-straight home matches and 27-straight regular-season matches against SAA opponents. 

At 10-0, Berry is the only unbeaten team in the league, nearing their second-straight regular season title. Berry leads the SAA with a .238 hitting percentage and 2.29 blocks per set.
