Volleyball Improves to 10-0 in SAA Play With Sweep at Rhodes

MEMPHIS, TN. – The Vikings improved their win streak to eleven straight matches and a perfect 10-0 in SAA play as the Berry College volleyball team swept Rhodes College on Saturday afternoon.

Set scores against the Lynx were 25-17, 25-6 and 25-11. On the day, the Vikings added 41 kills to their opponents' 22. Berry also finished the day with 59 digs, five blocks and 36 assists.

NOTABLES:

  • With the wins, Berry improves to 16-3 overall on the year, as well as a perfect 10-0 in the Southern Athletic Association.
  • Rhodes falls to 9-8 overall and 4-5 in the SAA.

UP NEXT:

Berry will host Emory University for their Pack the House event on Tuesday, Oct. 10th  at 7:00 p.m. It will also be Berry's "Dig Pink" game to benefit breast cancer research.
