Heidi Seabaugh to Join Lady Vikings Tennis Team in Fall
Berry College tennis coach Clay Hightower announced Thursday that Kennesaw Mountain High School senior Heidi Seabaugh has declared his intention to enroll at Berry and play for its women's tennis team beginning in the fall of 2012.
Seabaugh helped Kennesaw Mountain win a regional championship in 2011, a year in which she was also named her team's outstanding doubles player.
While at Kennesaw Mountain, Seabaugh has earned the Lady Mustang Award, the Coaches Award and been honored as a Scholar-Athlete.
She helped her USTA team tennis squad win its region in 2010 and has been a four-time city finalist in ALTA Tennis.
Along with her accomplishments on the tennis court, Seabaugh is just as successful in the classroom and the community. She has earned the Scholar-Athlete honor every year of her high school career, and been honored as the Mustang of the Week. Seabaugh is also a member of the Beta Club, the Key Club, symphonic band and has volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club and MUST Ministries, among other organizations.
