McGivney Sets Record in 3-0 Loss to No. 13 CNU

ATLANTA — Despite a program record 16 saves by Berry's Jackie McGivney, the Vikings were halted by the defense of No. 13 Christopher Newport University on Sunday afternoon, falling 3-0. 

CNU tallied a pair of goals in the opening period to lead 2-0 at the half. A corner kick in the second half would give the Captains their final goal of the day to ensure the win. Facing 30 total shots, McGivney held her own collecting 16 saves, a program record in Berry's NCAA Division III era.
